How do investor complaints affect the market for fund management?
Aneel Keswani (Bayes Business School)
Using data provided by the UK fund industry regulator on complaints we show that the number of complaints raised about specific fund management companies significantly decrease flows into their mutual funds. However we do not find evidence that investor complaints do not make flows more sensitive to fund performance or fund ratings.
